The Project:
40 Luxury Homes were provided following the conversion of this Regency Period and Grade II Listed former York Council offices. St Leonards Place, in Museum Street, had stood empty since 2013 when City of York Council departed for West Offices and it was the aspiration to return the terrace to its original residential intent.
The building, which was built in 1831 as nine town houses, was transformed to provide five townhouses and 29 apartments through a mix of 6 conversion and new build mews properties to the rear of the main crescent. The development situs just 150 metres from York Minster.
